Pool Rules :

  1. No boisterous or rough play.
  2. No diving in areas of the pool less than 5 feet deep.
  3. Only US Coast Guard approved personal flotation devises may be used in the pool.
  4. No animals or pets allowed in pool or on the deck.
  5. No toys, floats, or balls allowed in the pool.
  6. No person with skin, eye, ear, or nasal infections allowed in the pool.
  7. No glass allowed in pool or on the deck.
  8. Adults should not swim alone.
  9. Children should not use the swimming pool without adult supervision.
  10. Children not reliably potty trained must wear plastic pants. Diapers should be changed in the locker room.
  11. All persons must shower prior to entering the pool.
  12. All persons using the pool do so at their own risk. Owners and management are not responsible for accidents and injuries.
  13. Management reserves the right to deny use of pool to anyone at any time.
  14. Emergency phone is located on the patio.
  15. No pushing, running, or shoving is allowed on the pool deck area.
  16. All tag games must be conducted in the water.
  17. All swimmers must sign in on the member registration sheet and register their guests on a guest slip. All guest slips should be printed clearly with the first and last name of the membership and the guest(s) name(s) under that appropriate category. Members maybe asked to show their Club ID.
  18. Reminder about Pool Toys: Small "squishy" balls, tennis balls, large beach balls and non-floating balls are not allowed in the pool. When the pool is not crowded, larger "squishy" balls and "squishy" frisbees are allowed at the discretion of the lifeguard. Any object used in an inappropriate or dangerous way may be removed by the lifeguard.

Diving Board Rules:

  1. Only one person at a time on the diving boards.
  2. Low dive - the next diver must wait on the ground until the person ahead of her has left the board.
  3. The diver on the board may not leave the board until the person ahead of him has reached the ladder
  4. High dive - the next diver in line must wait on the wooden platform until the person ahead of her has left the board
  5. The diver on the board may not leave the board until the person ahead of him has reached the ladder
  6. Divers must swim to the ladder on the side of the pool closest to the board from which they jumped.
  7. Divers should leave the boards straight off the ends
  8. Diving boards are alternated so that two people are not in flight at the same time.
  9. No handstands, cartwheels or sitting on the ends of the boards.
  10. Only one bounce on the ends of the boards.
  11. The diving well is for diving only. If the well is not being used for diving, the guards may permit swimming in the area (divers always have priority over swimmers).
  12. The use of goggles and diving masks is prohibited on the diving board.

Slide Rules:

  1. Swimmers should not swim in front of or underneath the slide.
  2. Only one person at a time on the slide
  3. The next person in line must wait at the bottom of the ladder until the person in front of him has exited the black square at the bottom of the slide.
  4. The use of goggles and diving masks is prohibited on the diving board.

Weather Policy

Rain: the pools will remain open in rain unless it rains hard enough that the guards can not see the bottom.

Thunder and Lightning: The pool will close immediately in the case of thunder and lightening and will reopen at the discretion of the head lifeguard or the aquatics director. (National Safety Lightening Institute and the American Red Cross recommend a 30 minute wait before returning to the pool)
