From R.D.U., Raleigh, And Points East:

  1. Follow I-40 West to exit 279B, Durham Freeway (Route 147) North towards Durham.
  2. Follow 147 N for 11.3 miles to exit 16B (15/501 South Chapel Hill)
  3. Exit onto 16B and Drive approximately 1 mile to exit # 107 (Duke University West Campus and Hospitals).
  4. At the traffic light at the end of the exit turn LEFT onto Cameron Blvd. Go to the 3rd traffic light which is Science Drive.
  5. Turn RIGHT at Science Drive onto a shared driveway with the Washington Duke Inn.
  6. Take an immediate RIGHT down to the parking lot and clubhouse.

CAUTION: PLEASE DO NOT EXIT DURHAM FREEWAY AT OTHER EXITS THAT SAY 15/501 BUSINESS, DUKE MED CENTERS, ETC. CONTINUE ALL THE WAY TO EXIT 16B.

From I-85 (coming from the south)

  1. Entering the Durham area take exit 174A (to VA and Duke Hospitals, Hillandale Road)
  2. Make RIGHT turn onto Hillandale Rd. Follow Hillandale Road till it ends at Erwin Road (facing Duke hospital).
  3. At Erwin Road make a RIGHT. Follow Erwin Road till it ends at Cameron Boulevard.
  4. At Cameron Boulevard make a LEFT and travel to the first traffic light which is Science Drive.
  5. Make a RIGHT turn at Science Drive into the Washington Duke Inn.
  6. Take an immediate RIGHT down to the parking lot and clubhouse.

FROM I-85 (coming from the north)

  1. When entering the Durham area take exit 174B (15/501 Bypass south towards Chapel Hill)
  2. Exit is from the LEFT LANE, so be sure to get over to the left lane when passing Hillandale Rd.exit which is the prior exit.
  3. Follow 15/501 bypass south approximately 1? miles to exit 107. Take exit 107 ( Duke University West Campus and Hospitals).
  4. At the traffic light at the end of the exit ramp Turn LEFT onto Cameron Blvd. Go to the 3rd traffic light which is Science Drive.
  5. Turn RIGHT at Science Drive into the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club.
  6. Take an immediate RIGHT down to the parking lot and clubhouse.

FROM I-40 (coming from the west)

  1. When entering the Durham area , take exit 270 ( Highway 15/501).
  2. Turn LEFT onto Highway 15/501 North (toward Durham).
  3. Follow for approximately 2 Miles. and it will split into 15/501 Business, SOUTH SQUARE, (left) and
  4. 15/501 NORTH,DOWNTOWN DURHAM, DUKE UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTERS, (RIGHT).
  5. YOU TAKE THE SPLIT TO THE RIGHT. After approximately 2 miles take exit 107. (DUKE UNIVERSITY WEST CAMPUS).
  6. At the traffic light at end of exit ramp turn RIGHT onto Cameron Blvd. Go to the second traffic light which is Science Drive.
  7. Turn RIGHT at Science Drive into Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club. Take an immediate RIGHT down to the parking lot and clubhouse.
