Swimming
From March to November, the Duke Faculty Club is THE place to be for swimming fun and fitness. We have three beautiful and professionally maintained pools surrounded by a vast deck area with lounge chairs, tables and multiple shaded spaces.
The Main Pool features a designated shallow end, an 8 foot tall twisty slide, and low and high diving boards.
The Wading Pool, adjacent to the main pool, is for infants and children 5 years old and younger. There is no guard attending the wading pool. Parents should never leave children unattended in the pool or anywhere else at the Duke Faculty Club.
The Lap Pool is a 25 yard, 4 lane pool designed for lap swimming only. Heated in the spring and fall months, this facility is a great compliment to the boisterous main pool. Members and guests must be 16 years of age or older to access this pool. There is no guard attending the lap pool.
